Preparing for Christmas

We've been slowly getting the homestead ready for winter and had a chance this week-end to prep for Christmas. This year for the 1st time in 20 years we decided to go and get a real tree instead of putting up the same tired artificial one. And we are so glad we did.
We couldn't simply go to a lot and get a tree, we found a lovely tree farm here in Amaranth and wondered around until we found the perfect tree and cut it down with a saw.
